Portuguese Laurel Hedging Plants, in pots

They can be immediately planted into the ground for a stunning hedge.

Pot grown plants have a well developed root structure, will establish quicker, with a higher success rate, than bare root plants.

Planting Instructions

Planting and growing laurels is easy, if you follow these simple steps:
Dig a hole slightly larger than the pot.
Remove the plant from the pot by carefully squeezing the sides - try not to disturb the compost around the roots.
Place the plant in the hole you have dug and carefully fill the soil around the plant, gently firm down the soil.
Keep plants watered well, the soil must not be allowed to dry out and should always be moist/damp.
There is no need to use stakes or canes to support the plant, unless the planting location is very exposed
Typical spacing for laurels is 2 plants per meter, however this can be increased to 1 plant per meter if required.
When planting Laurels DO NOT:

Do not use any type of fertiliser, this can damage the young roots
Do not steep the plant in water prior to planting
Do not allow the plants to dry out after planting
